3-Day Safari to Tsavo East and Taita Hills (Saltlick)

Day 1: Drive from coastal hotel/airport to Tsavo East National Park, game drive from 10am-12:30pm, check-in at lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Early morning game drive, then drive to Saltlick Taita Hills Sanctuary (less than 3 hours), game drive and overnight stay at Saltlick game lodge.

Day 3: Early morning breakfast, game drive en-route to Mombasa/Diani/Malindi Beach (less than 5 hours), arrival around 4pm.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Diani Beach/Mombasa/Malindi to Tsavo East

Our driver guide will pick you at your coastal hotel/airport at 6.30am from your Hotel and drive for 4hrs to Tsavo East National Park. Start your morning game drive at 10.00am through this vast plain, have a chance to spot herds of Lions, Buffaloes, Red Elephants, Giraffes, Impalas, Zebras, Gazelles, Waterbucks, and different bird species. Your Game drive will continue until 12.30pm when you will Check-in and have lunch at the Lodge/Camp of your choice. After lunch relax till 04.00pm. Afternoon game drive will start at 4.00pm till 6.00pm back to Lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp of your choice.

Day 2: Tsavo East to Taita Hills Saltlick Sanctuary.

Early morning game drive later you break for breakfast, after breakfast proceed with game en-route Leave Tsavo East for Salt lick Taita Hills Sanctuary which is less 3hrs drive. Taita Hills Sanctuary is sufficiently isolated to develop endemic forms and birders which come from afar to see the Taita Olive Thrush and the Taita White-eye. you will arrive around lunch time. lunch at Taita Hills Game Lodge. After lunch drive to Salt lick game lodge. Later afternoon game drive until late in the evening dinner and overnight at Saltlick game lodge.

Day 3 Taita Hills Saltlick To Mombasa/Diani Beach.

Early morning breakfast, after breakfast proceed with Game en-route drive out of Taita Hills sanctuary and drive to Mombasa/Diani/Malindi/Watamu Beach which is less than 5hrs drive. You will arrive around 04.00pm.
