ITINERARY

Day 1: Diani/Mombasa/Malindi – Tsavo East 

Our driver guide will pick you up early morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park. Commence the morning game drive through this largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffaloes, leopards, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species. At 1 pm check in as well as lunch at the lodge/camp. The afternoon will hold yet more game drives and a climb on Mdanda rock, a volcanic feature used as a tannery by Colonialists, overlooking a vast hippo pool & resting spot for many lions. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp of your choice.

Day 2: Tsavo East–Tsavo West 

After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive en route to Tsavo West National Park. Make a game drive en route to the lodge for lunch. Have lunch and relax. In the afternoon, visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to search for the rare black rhino. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp of your choice.

Day 3: Tsavo West– Amboseli 

Depart the Lodge/Camp after breakfast and proceed to the famous Mzima Springs where some 250 liters of water gush out of the Chyulu Lava flows every day creating a scenic home to fat pods of hippos and crocodile-infested pools. Drive out of Tsavo West on the Shetani lava flows to Amboseli National Park for lunch at the lodge/camp. Afternoon game drives on this magnificent park on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in search of lions, cheetahs, buffalo, rhinos and elephants. Plenty of Plains games will be seen. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp of your choice.

Day 4: Amboseli– Saltlick

After breakfast make a drive en route exiting the park and proceeding to Taita Hills for lunch and leisure. Afternoon game drive is made in the Taita Hills (Salt Lick) Wildlife Sanctuary famous for its large number of pride of lions. Also to be seen are the elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, impala, baboon, warthog and waterbuck. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Saltlick– Mombasa/Diani/ Malindi

Early breakfast, make the final game drive as you exit the sanctuary before midday to have lunch at Voi town. Proceed to Mombasa/Diani/Malindi/Watamu with evening arrival at your coastal hotel.

What’s included in the price of the safari?

Transport based on customized open roof seven-sitter safari Van or 4×4 Jeep with specially modified suspension. Seats are designed with seat belts and all clients are guaranteed window seats.
