Arrival, Arusha town

Our driver  guide will pick you from Kilimanjaro airport and drive you to Arusha town for dinner and overnight at hotel of your choice. Depending on your time of arrival, a complimentary town tour to explore Arusha town, visit a local market, and a traditional bar can be arranged.

After breakfast depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population for game drive, with picnic lunch. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephant. In the afternoon you will continue to Lodge/Camp of your  choice for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you will drive to Mtowambu town on the floor of the Great rift valley, for a guided village tour. In this small but very busy town where people belonging to all 120 tribes in Tanzania live together you will have opportunity to see typical daily life of Tanzanians. Your walking guide who comes from that area will take you to rice and banana plantations where you will interact with the people working in their farms, you will visit a traditional beer bar/factory, you will visit a school and carvings factory where the famous “makonde” use ebony black wood to carve different statues. You will then continue to Lake Manyara national park for game drive with picnic lunch. In this small but very beautiful park with dense forest you will have opportunity to see lots of monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, dik dik, flamingos in the lake and if you are lucky you may spot the rare tree climbing lions.

Overnight at Lodge/Camp of your choice

After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game drive. The crater has a good number of lions and cheetahs, and it is the best place to see the rare black rhino. In the late afternoon you will return to Lodge/Camp  of your choice for dinner  and overnight.

After breakfast drive back to Arusha for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar you you will be picked up and transferred to beach hotel for dinner and overnight at beach hotel of your choice.

You will spend the day relaxing at the beach. Alternatively, the our can organizes activities like village walk, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, fishing and others that you can book and pay directly. All meals and overnight will be at beach hotel of your choice.

After breakfast you will drive to the Stone town where you will do a spice tour (Zanzibar spices are very famous worldwide). Later you will visit the historical Zanzibar Stone town. In the late afternoon you return to  beach hotel of  your choice for dinner and overnight
