Meet and greet with your professional safari driver-guide at your hotel, residence, port, or Moi International Airport. After a short safari briefing, depart and drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway via Voi Town to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival, enjoy a mid-morning game drive as you enter the sanctuary. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is home to four members of the Big Four and borders Tsavo West National Park, offering rich wildlife diversity. Lunch will be served at Taita Hills Safari Lodge & Spa. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, famous for its elevated rooms overlooking a waterhole. Enjoy spectacular views and photography opportunities from the lodge’s lobby and terrace areas. You will also have the opportunity to visit the underground tunnel and bunker, which provides safe, ground-level viewing of wildlife as animals gather at the waterhole and salt licks. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Safari Lodge or Taita Hills Safari Lodge & Spa.

Salt Lick Safari Lodge is a luxurious safari escape set in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Start the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Game viewing will include areas such as Lion Rock and Observation Hill, known for excellent wildlife sightings. You may spot lions, elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, hyenas, and a wide variety of plains game and bird species. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out. Enjoy a final short game drive as you exit the sanctuary. Afterwards, drive back to the Kenyan coast, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off will be at your hotel, residence, port, or Moi International Airport.
