Discover the world’s only national park located within a capital city. Nairobi National Park, established in 1946 as Kenya’s first national park, lies just 7 km (15 minutes) from Nairobi’s city centre and covers approximately 117 square kilometres (45 square miles).
Despite its close proximity to the city, the park is home to over 80 species of mammals and more than 400 species of birds. Enjoy the unique opportunity to view wildlife roaming freely against the backdrop of Nairobi’s impressive skyline.

Wildlife commonly seen includes: Lions, Black and white rhinos, Buffalo, Giraffes, Zebras, Cheetahs, Hyenas, Elands, Wildebeest, Impalas, gazelles, and other antelope species
Over 400 bird species, including the Secretary Bird, Crowned Crane, vultures, and eagles

Itinerary

Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), followed by a short drive to Nairobi National Park.
Enter through the main gate and enjoy an exciting 3-hour game drive in a custom-built safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.
Your experienced driver-guide will search for the park's incredible wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and many other animals. Along the way, you'll also have the chance to admire the unique contrast of Africa's wildlife with Nairobi's modern skyline.
After the game drive, you will be transferred back to your hotel or the airport.
