Elky Day Tour: Mount Longonot National Park & Lake Naivasha

Itinerary
06:00 AM – Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and depart towards Mount Longonot via the lush Kikuyu highlands.
06:30 AM – Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the escarpment and surrounding landscapes, with opportunities for photography.
07:00 AM – Arrive at Mount Longonot National Park and begin your guided hike. The trek takes approximately 3–4 hours (up and down) and requires moderate physical fitness. You will hike through designated trails to the crater rim, where you can enjoy spectacular views into the volcanic crater. For those able, an optional walk around the rim can be undertaken.
12:00 PM – Descend and relax at the park base before proceeding to Lake Naivasha.
01:00 PM – Arrive at Lake Naivasha (Marina Camp or similar) for lunch by the lakeside.
02:30 PM – Enjoy a one-hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Observe a variety of bird species, including African fish eagles, and spot hippos in their natural habitat.
04:00 PM – Depart for Nairobi.
05:30 PM – Arrival in Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or residence.
