Day 1: Diani Beach / Mombasa – Amboseli National Park
Pick-up from your coastal hotel or airport in the early morning. Depart for Amboseli National Park (approx. 5-hour drive).
Upon arrival, enjoy a short game drive en route to your lodge or camp, followed by check-in and lunch. After some time at leisure, depart at 16:00 hrs for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
Alternative Option (Train):
Board the 08:00 hrs Madaraka Express train from Mombasa to Emali (arrival at 12:36 hrs). Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and transfer to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drive at 16:00 hrs.
Day 2: Amboseli – Nairobi
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, check out with packed lunch and proceed for a final game drive.
Amboseli National Park, whose name means “salty dust” in Maasai, offers a unique ecosystem with five distinct habitats, including wetlands, savannah, and the dry lake bed.
Around midday, exit the park and drive to Nairobi (approx. 5 hours). Drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
Alternative Option (Train):
Transfer to the railway station for the Madaraka Express train to Mombasa or Nairobi. Transfer arrangements upon arrival can be organized.
