Itinerary
07:45 hrs – Pick-up from Nairobi
Pick-up from your hotel or airport and depart for Ngong Hills.
09:00 hrs – Arrival and Start of Hike
Arrive at the base of Ngong Hills and begin your guided hike. The trail starts in Ngong town at an elevation of approximately 1,961 meters.
The hike takes about 4–5 hours, covering a series of rolling hills:
• Initial gradual ascent through residential areas
• Entry into the Ngong Hills forest reserve
• Pass by the wind farm and radio stations
• Alternating ascents and descents across the hills
Enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley on one side and Nairobi city on the other. On occasion, wildlife such as buffalo may be spotted in the higher areas.
13:00 hrs – End of Hike & Return to Nairobi
Conclude the hike and begin the return journey to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or residence.
