Arrive at Colobus Conservation Centre, a renowned primate sanctuary dedicated to the protection of endangered Angolan colobus monkeys and other primates. Enjoy a guided educational tour to learn about wildlife conservation, rescue efforts, and habitat preservation.
09:45 a.m. – Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest Walk
Proceed to Kaya Kinondo, a UNESCO-listed sacred forest of the Mijikenda community. Take a guided nature and cultural walk through the forest, where you’ll learn about traditional rituals, spiritual beliefs, and medicinal plants while spotting monkeys and birds in their natural habitat.
11:15 a.m. – Bora Bora Wildlife Park Visit
Continue to Bora Bora Wildlife Park, located just 1 km from Pinewood Hotel, opposite Shamba la Salama in Kinondo village (Matengo area). Explore the largest animal sanctuary and eco-camp in the Diani area, set within a protected ecosystem reminiscent of the Kaya Sacred Forest. The park is home to Angolan colobus monkeys, yellow baboons, Sykes monkeys, and carefully preserved indigenous and medicinal plants.
12:45 p.m. – Relaxation & Photo Time
Enjoy some free time to relax, take photos, and appreciate the peaceful natural surroundings close to the Indian Ocean.
01:15 p.m. – Return Drive to Hotel
