Explore the vast open plains of Tsavo East, home to the famous red elephants and the wildlife-rich Aruba Dam, before continuing to the dramatic volcanic scenery of Tsavo West, where lava flows, rolling hills, Mzima Springs, and diverse wildlife create a spectacular safari destination. Travel in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser with an experienced professional guide, enjoy comfortable lodge accommodation, and experience exciting game drives in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and many other species.
Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach or Mombasa at around 06:00–06:30. Drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway towards Tsavo East National Park, arriving at Bachuma Gate for park entry. Enjoy your first game drive as you proceed through the park towards Ashnil Aruba Lodge, located near the Aruba Dam, an excellent area for wildlife viewing. Tsavo East is famous for its large herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many species of antelope. Arrival at the lodge in time for lunch and check-in. After some time to relax, depart at around 16:00 for an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife until sunset. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge or similar.
Early morning game drive before breakfast, when wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and depart with a game drive en route towards Tsavo West National Park. Enter Tsavo West National Park and continue with wildlife viewing as you proceed to Severin Safari Camp. Arrival at the camp in time for lunch and check-in. Enjoy some time to relax and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the camp. At around 16:00 depart for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo West, a park known for its volcanic landscapes, lava flows, and diverse wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. Return to the camp before sunset for dinner and overnight at Severin Safari Camp or similar.
Early morning game drive in Tsavo West followed by breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, check out and visit the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water flows from underground springs and hippos and crocodiles can often be seen. After the visit, exit the park and begin the journey back to Diani Beach or Mombasa, with arrival in the afternoon.
