Depart early for Shimba Hills National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most scenic coastal parks, famous for its rolling hills, dense rainforest, and rare wildlife such as sable antelopes.
08:30 AM – Arrival at Shimba Hills Main Gate
Check-in and payment of park entry fees.
10:00 AM – Guided Walk to Sheldrick Waterfalls
Meet Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) rangers and enjoy a guided nature walk through the forest to the beautiful Sheldrick Waterfalls.
12:00 PM – Depart Shimba Hills / Drive to Diani
Leave Shimba Hills and head towards Diani for your cultural experience.
02:30 PM – Visit Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest
Enjoy a guided walk through this ancient and spiritual forest while learning about Digo traditions, history, and conservation practices.
04:00 PM – Drive to Kongo River Estuary
Arrive at the point where the Kongo River meets the Indian Ocean.
05:00 PM – 06:30 PM – Sunset Experience
Relax during a scenic boat ride and sunset experience at the Kongo River—one of Diani’s most picturesque locations.
06:30 PM – Return to Mombasa / Hotel Drop-off
