Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart after breakfast for Samburu. Arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.
Day 3: Full Day Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the “Samburu Special Five.” Optional visit to a Samburu village. Overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.
Day 4: Samburu – Marsabit
Early breakfast and depart for Marsabit. Afternoon exploration of Marsabit National Park. Dinner and overnight at Sand & Rock Resort or similar.
Day 5: Full Day Marsabit
Explore Marsabit National Park and learn about Ahmed the famous tusker. Optional village visits and guided walks. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Marsabit – Loiyangalani (Lake Turkana)
Drive to Loiyangalani on the shores of Lake Turkana. Visit local communities and enjoy lakeside views. Overnight at Malabo Resort or similar.
Day 7: Loiyangalani – Cultural Experience
Engage with Turkana and El Molo communities. Optional excursion to Southern Island (weather permitting). Overnight at Malabo or Palm Shade Resort.
Day 8: Loiyangalani – Leisure & Exploration
Relax or continue cultural visits and lakeside walks. Overnight at Malabo or Palm Shade Resort.
Day 9: Loiyangalani – South Horr
Visit local villages en route to South Horr. Afternoon at leisure or optional village visit. Overnight at camp/lodge.
Day 10: South Horr – Maralal
Scenic drive to Maralal. Afternoon at leisure in this remote northern town. Overnight at Maralal Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 11: Maralal – Lake Baringo
Proceed to Lake Baringo. Afternoon optional activities including canoeing, fishing, or visiting the Njemps community. Overnight at Soi Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 12: Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria
Morning boat ride on Lake Baringo. Continue to Lake Bogoria to explore hot springs, geysers, and birdlife. Overnight at Lake Bogoria Spa & Resort or similar.
Day 13: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. Visit viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge or similar.
Day 14: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
Morning game drive followed by breakfast. Return to Nairobi with a stop for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Transfer to airport for departure.
