Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
Airport pick-up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Nairobi.
Day 2: Nairobi City Tour
Visit David Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary and Giraffe Centre. Optional visit to Karen Blixen Museum or guided tour of Kibera. Lunch included. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Nairobi – Mombasa (Diani/Ukunda)
Early transfer to SGR station for the 08:00 Madaraka Express train to Mombasa (arrives approx. 14:15). Transfer to Ukunda for homestay accommodation within a local community. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Community Program – Rural Schools
Participate in community outreach by visiting rural schools and homes, assisting in data collection for sponsored children. Cultural interaction and village exposure. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Community & Cultural Experience
Continue school/home visits. Afternoon Ukunda village tour including local homesteads, traditional cooking experience, and Giriama cultural dance performance. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Mombasa City – Fort Jesus – Malindi
Visit Fort Jesus for historical insights into Mombasa. Continue to Malindi and check in with a host family. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Gede Ruins & Canoe Excursion
Visit Gede Ruins and Museum. Afternoon canoe excursion exploring mangroves and conservation efforts. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Watamu Beach Relaxation
Transfer to a beach resort in Watamu. Enjoy a full day at leisure. Overnight at beach hotel.
Day 9: Flight to Nairobi
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Nairobi. Hotel check-in and overnight.
Day 10: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Depart at 06:00 for Maasai Mara. Arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Full Day Maasai Mara
Full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Optional Maasai village visit (USD 20 per person). Dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Early morning game drive, then proceed to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park (rhinos, flamingos, birdlife). Proceed to Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight
Day 14: Hell’s Gate & Boat Excursion
Visit Hell’s Gate National Park for cycling and walking safari. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and visit Crescent Island. Return to Nairobi or overnight depending on flight schedule.
Day 15: Departure
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for departure.
